DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:

Turner-32608 and Turner-14032 appear to represent the same person because: same wife

Turner-32608 and Turner-14032 do not represent the same person because: Turner-14032 appears to be an amalgam of Turner-32608 and Turner-8803. The parents listed in the sources of Turner-14032 match the linked parents of Turner-8803 as well as birthdates.

The information listed in the source "Mayflower Births and Deaths, Vol. 1 and 2" refer to a Joseph Turner, son of Japhet Turner and Elizabeth Morse. Turner-32608 is the son of Matthew Turner

Thank you, that's what I had, but someone sent me a merge request, so I passed it along. Thanks for reminding me.

There seems to be a problem with the parents on this one. Japhet & Elizabeth (Morse) Turner had a son Joseph born to them in 1738, in Middleboro, Massachusetts. He married Mercy French in the same town in 1757, and had a son there in 1757 named Joshua. As far as I can see, there is no relationship to a location in South Carolina for the man. I'm going to disconnect him from the unsupported parents, since they already have a son Joseph who lived in the same town as the parents. If you can provide some proof that the man in South Carolina was related to people in Mass., please advise.

Hi I am going to correct a few things, as I have sources from my ancestry.com tree where I can add them. Hope that's ok, because there are some mistakes. =)
