Thomas Turner, born 28 Dec 1825, son of William Turner, a plasterer, and Betty, residing at Affetside, Tottington, was christened on 1 Oct 1826 the Chapelry of Tottington, Lancashire, England.[1]
Thomas Turner (age 28, Bachelor, Collier, residing in Kersley, son of William Turner, Painter) and Betsy Whitley (age 19, Spinster, residing in Kersley, daughter of John Whitley, Collier) were married on 1 Jan 1857 at the parish church of Farnworth with Kearsley, Lancashire - the witnesses were Thomas Clarke & Elizabeth Davidson.[2] The marriage was registered in Bolton, Lancashire in the first quarter of the year.[3]

In 1861 Thomas Turner (age 34, Coalminer) lived at Flaxton Gardens in Kearsley with his wife Betey (23, M?? Spinner), son William (3), and daughter Ann (1).[4]
Thomas passed away in or before 1866.
