(Author's Note: Jim Turner was found guilty and incarcerated in the early 1980's with sexually molesting his step-daughter. After confessing to his wife, then to their church pastor, he then turned himself in to the police, where he plead guilty and was incarcerated at the prison in Walla Walla, Washington. During his incarceration, he wrote to his brother about how dangerous prison life was, and that he had to carry with him at all times a note explaining that the reason why he was setting off the metal detectors was the metal rod in his leg; the rod had to be put in earlier in his life, when it was found that, due his mother's neglect and his malnutrition, the bone could no longer support him.)
