Mary Turner is known as daughter of Simon Turner by his will, dated 7 July 1761, in which he names her daughter Lucy Person. This implies that Mary Person, wife of Francis, was his daughter.[1]
Mary was born in 1703 to Simon and Mary (Everett?) Turner in Isle of Wight County, British Colony of Virginia. She would marry Francis Person, also of Isle of Wight, in around 1720. Francis and Mary would have the following twelve children:
Samuel Person (1721-1761)
Joseph Person (1723-1771)
Henry Person (ca. 1725-1765)
James Person (ca. 1727-1765)
John Person (1730-1786)
Jacob Person (ca. 1732-1775)
William Person (1736-1816)
Sarah Person (1738- )
Mary Person (1740- )
Lucy Person (1742- )
Martha Person (1742- )

Mary passed away in 1761 at about 58 years of age.
