Biography

CENSUS INFORMATION: In the 1891 UK Census, she is listed as Lillie Turner, a scholar, aged 9 and born in Portfield, Sussex. She is living at Oving Road West, Oving, Westhampnet, Sussex, with her uncle, aunt, a cousin and a boarder. (RG12/844, Folio 82, Page 24).
In the 1901 UK Census, she is listed as Lillie E Turner, a nurse/maid domestic, aged 19 and born in Chichester, Sussex. She is living with (and working for) the Manners family at 27 North Street, Chichester. (RG13/ 969, Folio 38, Page 13).
In the 1911 UK Census, she is listed as Lillie Eunice Turner, a domestic nurse aged 29, born in Chichester, Sussex. She is living with a mother and daughter (called McCutcheon) 35 Nightingale Road, Southsea, Hampshire. (RG14/5617, RG78/254, RD90, SD4, ED25, SN79).
