When Ida B. Turner was born on January 3, 1884, in Chippewa County, Wisconsin, her father, William, was 19 and her mother, Louise, was 19. She married Albert G Austin on September 19, 1906, in Multnomah County, Oregon. They had one child during their marriage. She died on April 20, 1927, in Portland, Oregon, at the age of 43, and was buried there.
