Nathaniel and Mehetabel Rigby were married by Capt. Roger Clap of Dorchester, Massachusetts Bay Colony on 29 January 1665. The Scituate record incorrectly calls her "Bigbee."[2][3] She was the daughter of John and Isabel (Prescott) Rigby baptised in Dorchester on 23 April 1643. The church record also notes that she married "Mr Turner of Scittuate".[4] Mehitable died in Scituate on 22 March 1680.[5]
Nathaniel married, secondly, Abigail (Eames) Stockbridge after 1683. Abigail was the daughter of Anthony and Margery (Unknown) Eames, born about 1633 in Fordington, Dorset, England. She was the widow of Charles Stockbridge who died in Scituate on 28 December 1683.[6][7]
"Nathaniell" died on 31 January 1715 in Scituate, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[8][9]
