SoCol Project Review: Profile was Project Managed in 2019. It appears that there is some question regarding parents and birth place of Turner-1848.

Current birth place is documented as being Prince George, VA., however there appears to be some who believe she was born in Scotland. There are no sources given in support of either place of birht or parents. Profile will remain project managed and protected to encourace project collaboration.

Hi All. I'm a new contributor here. Abernathy and Lemons are my lines. Wondered if anyone else has the following data for the parents of Martha Ann Turner:

Father Joseph Turner abt 1710 Aberdeenshire, Scotland Mother just a name Lucy Nancy

This probably has been discussed before. Apologize in advance if this is so. Bob

Based on some local stories of the time that I have read, I am convinced that Martha Turner was born in 1724 in Aberdeen, Scotland and married David Abernathy in Brunswick, Virginia in 1748.

Ferrell,

On Martha Turner, I have her born in 1727 in Aberdeen Scotland. Do you have documentation on your Martha Ann Turner. I am looking at the merge that you have suggested. Thanks, margaret
