Betty Turner was born in Middleborough, Plymouth County, Province of Mass. Bay on 12 May 1726 to Japhet Turner and his wife Elizabeth Morse.[1] She married Thomas Reynolds in Brockton on 3 November 1748,[2] and the marriage was also recorded in East Bridgewater.[3]
She was named in her grandmother Widow Hannah Tupper's will, dated 26 Aug 1766: To "my aforesaid daughter Elizabeth Pratt , & my fifteen grandaughters namely Betty Rennels, ... all my household goods, & other estate not given away to be equally divided ...."[4]
Elizabeth Reynolds died sometime shortly before 4 March 1816 when her will was presented for probate.[5] Elizabeth Reynolds of Bridgewater, widow, wrote her will on 15 April 1803 in which she name her sons Joseph, Thomas and Josiah Reynolds; daughters Susanna Howard, Elizabeth Reynolds, Amy Dunbar, Martha Packard. She named her son-in-law Oliver Howard was named as executor of her estate. Witnesses were Darius Howard, Joseph Reynold Jr., Daniel Howard Jr.[5]

Does anyone have further information about her death? I've checked the Mass. VRs for a death in 1816 for any variation of Reynolds and don't find any death record. Is there a probate file? I don't find a headstone or profile on www.findagrave.com either. Suggestions?
