Biography

Ruth was born about 1662. She is the daughter of John Turner and Mary Brewster. She passed away in 1729.

Children

Thomas Prince and Ruth Turner had the following children:[1]

  • James Prince, b. 23 Nov. 1687; d. before 24 June 1704
  • Ruth Prince, b. 6 Mar. 1690; d. 12 Sept. 1690
  • Margaret Prince, baptized 16 Mar. 1690/1, d. before 24 June 1704
  • Benjamin Prince, b. 28 Feb. 1693/4; m. Abiel/Abiah Nelson
  • Job Prince, b. 14 Apr. 1695; m. Abigail Kimball

Israel Sylvester and Ruth Turner had the following children:[2]

  • Ruth Sylvester, b. 26 June 1701 (before marriage of parents); m. (1) Francis Cooke Jr; m. (2) Samuel Ring; m. (3) John Phinney
  • Israel Sylvester, b. 5 May 1705; m. Abigail Snell
  • Grace Sylvester, b. Nov. 1706; m. Isaac Partridge

On 24 October 1729, her son Thomas Prince was granted the administration of her estate.[3]

Her inventory was recorded on 4 November 1729 in Plymouth.[4]

In 1731, her son Thomas presented the debts due to her estate and the charges of the estate.[5]
