Biography

Alice L. Turner wed Ivy W. Peeler January 28, 1892 in Washington County, Georgia. They were married by A. S. Avant, Minister of the Gospel as seen in the image of the marriage records.^[1]

Alice B Peeler was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Hebron, Deepstep, Washington County, Georgia for the June 16, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born September 1874 in Georgia and had been married eight years. She was the mother of two children of which both were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Ivy W Peeler, son Freeman J Peeler and daughter Leslie M Peeler.^[2]
