Biography

Sarah was born in 1820. She was the daughter of Edward Turner and Jemima Harris. She passed away in 1888. [1]

Mrs. Thomas Day was the daughter of Edward Turner who came to Guelph in 1832. She was born in Kent, England, in 1821. The Turner family stayed in Guelph about a year then moved on to Tuckersmith Township, Huron County. In 1840 [Sarah] returned to Guelph and June 5th, 1845 was married to Mr. [Thomas] Day. She died at the Day home o Paisley Street on August 22, 1888, survived by her hustband and daughter Jennie at home, Mrs. [Amelia] Sunley and Mrs. [Emelie] Talbot of Eramosa, George E. and David H.
