The census is dated 1 Jan 1920 for the Frank Tuttle family. Frank (41) and wife Edith (29) are living in the home they rent with their children Eugene (10), Robert (8) and Lois (11 mos.). Both Robert and Eugene were born in Kentucky and Lois was born in Indiana. The home they are renting is owned by Ella Lantry (33), a single and unemployed woman born in Ohio. Also living there is her nephew William Byrne (28). Frank reports to be a cooper for a cooper shop. [3]

The census is dated 8 Apr 1930 for the Frank R. Tuttle family. Frank (51) and wife Edith (38) are living in the home they rent with their children Eugene (21), Robert (18), Lois M. (11) and Ina M. (7). Both Robert and Eugene were born in Kentuck, Lois was born in Indiana and Ina was born in Ohio. They rent the home for $40 per month. Frank reports to have been 29 when married and Edith was 17. Frank is now a copper for a distillery, Eugene is an accountant for a linoleum factory and Robert is a manager for a grocery store. [4]

Sheet 7A shows Edith tuttle (49) as the head of the household and widowed. She is living with her children Eugune (31), Robert (29), Lois (21) and Ina (21) living in the home they own at 500 North Cooper Street. The home is valued at $5,500. Edith reports she completed 3 years of high school and all of her kids completed 4 years of high school but Ina who completed 3. Edith reports she was born in Illinois, Eugene and Robert in Kentucky, Lois in Indiana and Ina in Ohio. All report they were living in Cincinnatti in 1935. Eugene is a retail store manager for a grocery store and earned $2,080 the previous year. Robert is a produce manager for a grocery store and eanred $1,040 the previous year. Lois is a stenographer for a paper mill and earned $780 the previous year. [5]

1950 - Ohio, Hamilton County, Lockland, District 31-107, 10 Apr 1950
Sheet 5 of the census shows Edith M Tuttle (59), a widow as the head of the home. Living with her are son-in-law George Foster (32), his wife and her daughter, Lois M Foster (31) and their son, her grandson, Kenneth R Foster (5) and her daughter Ina M Tuttle (27). The home is located at 500 Cooper, the same address as the 1940 census. Edith reports she was born in Indiana, George and Lois is Indiana and Kenneth and Ina in Ohio. George is a tabulating clerk at a paper mill and Ina was the secretary to the treasurer at a paper mill. George reported he earned $3,600 in 1949 and worked 50 weeks. [6]

Ohio death record for Lois M. Foster shows she was born 4 Jan 1919 in Indiana to parents Tuttle and Marsh. She is widowed and died in her home in Blue Ash with the assistance of hospice care.
