He was a blacksmith. He resided Littleton, Massachusetts for three years, worked in Bath for a time, then removed to Colebrook, New Hampshire.
He died in Barnet. Vermont, while away for medical treatment, Dec. 31, 1842.[2]
He is buried in the Colebrook Village Cemetery, Colebrook, Coos, New Hampshire.[3]
