Biography
Charles was born in 1795. He is the son of Simon Tuttle and Elizabeth Hunt. [1]
He married Mary Edwards in 1820. [2]
They had the following children:
- John Edward Tuttle 1821–1841
- Mary Edwards Tuttle 1826–1829
- Caroline (Hutchins) 1828–1897
Mary died in in 1832. In 1833 he married Maria Hildreth, widow of Abram Wright.[3]
They had the following children:
- Henry Martin Tuttle 1834-1846
- George Thompson Tuttle 1837–1852
- Sarah Jane (Pike) 1842–1916
They farmed in Acton, Massachusetts. [4][5][6][7]
Charles died in 1886. [8]
