Chandler Tuttle was born on September 19, 1763, in Salisbury, Connecticut, his father, Thomas Tuttle, was 32 and his mother, Lydia Owen, was 33. He had five brothers and two sisters. Information from Tuttle Lines in America[1] indicates he may have died while escaping from the British (Rev War).
