Biography

Polly TWITCHELL was born 8 Mar 1800 in Oxford, New Haven Co., Connecticut, United States, daughter of Ebenezer Twitchell

She married Asa JOHNSON on 14 Oct 1826 in Oxford, New Haven Co., Connecticut, United States.

They raised a family on 'Moose Hill' in Oxford, until her husband died c.1839. They had a son, who was master of a sea-going vessell, name unknown. Polly eventually married Benjamin V Lines -a neighbor- about 3 yrs later. Polly distributed the Johnson land to her sons, Charles and Burr.

1848 Benjamin's son Clark Lines married Polly's daughter Nancy Johnson
