Biography
Ingegjerd was the wife of Bjørn, the son of Eystein Gydasson. They are mentioned in a letter from Håkon Magnusson (dated either 8 Jul 1292 or 25 Mar 1293), granting protection for Bjørn, Ingegjerd, their children and all their property, and particularly banning others from fishing in lake Tofte and harvesting timber in their forests.[1][2]
