DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Sarah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Sarah:
UNKNOWN-1524 and Ruffner-294 appear to represent the same person because: seems to me this was intended to be the same person. dates match up and the findagrave is same on both
I wrote a comment before reading someone else proposed this back in August of last year. I'm hoping this will bring attention to the issue again. Salome is her middle name but was written as both middle and maiden name- the later can't be edited. Thanks, Becky
Salome-5 uses a middle name as LNAB rather than the correct maiden name of Ruffner. This needs to be corrected, but that would require Salome-5 to be recycled in order to create a new (but correct) Ruffner-? Also, Zimmerman-359 and Carpenter-5753 appear to be the same person with the Americanized surname along with Zimmerman_Carpenter-4. It is all quite confusing. Perhaps the Palatine Migration Project could help with this complicated cleanup.
Imported name was Sarah. There is no source, so this may not be correct. She is not an unknown to be recycled, though. She was Hans' spouse. Please do mot recycle people with family connections!
