Biography
Elizabeth ______[1] and Hugh Clark were named as parents at the birth of their first three children. The first was born Oct 1641.[2]
Elizabeth and Hugh lived in Watertown, Massachusetts, when their children were born and then later in Roxbury, Massachusetts. "Elizabeth Clerk ye wife of Hugh Clark [was admitted to the Roxbury Church] being dismissed from Watertown Church" on 19 July 1657.[1][3]
16 April 1681, Hugh and his wife Elizabeth gave for "love, good will & affection which we have and bear unto our loving son John Clarke of Muddy River in the Township of Boston ... yeoman... all the our messuage ... in New Cambridge ... by estimation sixty acres ... Also six acres of Fresh meadow land ... And also one acre of salt marsh meadow land lying in Cambridge salt marsh..."[1][4]
The wife of Hugh Clark died 11 Dec 1692. Hugh died 20 July 1693, both in Roxbury, Massachusetts.[5]
