A "Princess Matchowitch" has been put forward as a possible Native American mother of Augustine or Austin Bearse (with supposed spouse Gypsy Gauche Bearse. See Augustine's profile for a discussion of these claims that were subsequently disputed by Donald Lines Jacobus.[1]
