Biography

Mary Ward, daughter of Benjamin and Mary, was baptized at St. Mary Whitechapel 5 May 1627. She m. by 1653 William Holloway.[1]

Mary wife of Wm. Holloway died 24th Jan. 1657 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.[2]

  2. William, born January 11, 1655[2]
  3. Benjamin, born July 8, 1656[2] married Mary Stocker – two of his grandsons were Loyalists in the Revolutionary W

According to the Thwing Connection. The son - William Hallaway / Hallewell / Halowell was b. 1655, son of William Hallowell and Mary Ward. He married (1) Anne and (2) Sarah Indecot 1708. Had children: William 1682 d. young; Mary 1687 d. young; Sarah 1690 m. 1715 Henry Pounel; Williiam 1693 d. young; Ebenezer 1695; William bp 1696; Mary 1698 bpt as Mercy Ward. He was a shipwright. The settlement of Williams estate and subsequent sales of property name his siblings and Mary's husband John Webb. (more)[3]

UNKNOWN-75238 and Ward-12856 appear to represent the same person because: I tracked down Mary UUNKNOWN-75238 because at one time she was attached to a William Holloway. He was merged away into a different William and she was detached. But she exists. She even has a last name Ward. Mary (Ward) Holloway/Hallowell is the person she was meant to be. Birth 1590 was an estimate. 1627 is correct. Please merge. Thank you.
