Biography
According to census records, Nancy was born about 1788 in Virginia. There is no record of her maiden name. She married Lemuel Franks, probably in North Carolina. If she is the mother of Cynthia Ann, she would have been very young. She travelled with Lemuel and her family from White County, Tennessee to Marion County, Alabama, then on to Arkansas, and finally to Parker County, Texas, where she died sometime after 1860.
