Thomas was born c1430, possibly the son of Edward Underhill of Little Bradley, Suffolk and Elizabeth [1]
He married Thomasine Caldebeck who married firstly John Turnor of Haverhill[2]
In Common Pleas in 1510, Thomas Stuttevile and Margaret his wife were the executors of Thomas Underhyll, gentleman.[3]

In Little Bradley All Saints church there are brasses in the chancel: I (north chancel, lower), Thomas Underhill and wife Thomasin, (civilian, two kneeling figures circa 1510)[4]
Thomas Knighton married (blank) the daughter of Thomas Underhill of Harveys in Little Bradley, Suffolk, esquire, and they had Thomas and John.
Thomas Stotevill, esquire, son of Richard, married Margaret the daughter of Thomas Underhill and Thomasine his wife, daughter of Henry Caldebeke.[5]
