Gertrude Underwood was born in 1882. She was the daughter of George Underwood and Sarah Currie. [1] Gertrude was baptised on 17th September, 1885 in Haverstock Hill, St Andrew, Middlesex. [2]
in 1901, Gertrude was living with her parents and brother in Hammersmith, Middlesex. She was 18-years-old. At the time, she was employed as an ironer in a laundry. [3]
In 1904, Gertrude married Albert Hutchinson. The marriage was registered in Fulham, Middlesex. [4]
