DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Susan by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Susan:
James Cambell married first Janet McLeod in 1700 (at the age of 22). He married SECOND Susanna Campbel in 1717. So how could James and Susanna possibly be the parents of Mary Catherine (Campbell) Woods, who was born in 1690. This defies any logic, aside from the fact that James would have been 12 years old.
Are you sure she is the mother of all these children? The dates given make her in her late 20's to late 30's when she had Elizabeth, Jean, Mary Catherine and Gilbert. James was born when she was 56, very unlikely I think since 56 is the mean average for menopause and by the time William was born she was 72. Could the seven younger children, James, Susanna, Elizabeth, Alexander, Mary, Anne and William, be grandchildren? According to the given dates she was 59 when she married the second James Campbell so it's very unlikely that she had any children by him.
Can someone change her unknown to Campbell, It would only be right if her father was also Campbell right,Thank's my Gedmatch #M416339 information can be added if someone could do this, for others to compare 23andme Paternal R1b1b2a1a Maternal J1c2 Gedmatch kit # M416339, (it says uncertain) , Thanks
