Biography
Deborah's birthdate, location, maiden name, and parents are currently unknown .[1]
There is no credible evidence that she was a Wampanoag, especially since her supposed father lived and died in Rhode Island. Any DNA found in her descendants would be too small to point to her heritage. It could easily have come from another ancestor.
Others have suggested her maiden name was Luce, but it was her daughter who married a Luce.
Deborah married Thomas Cowell about 1685.[1]
Their children were:[2][3][4]
Isaac, b. Aug. 19, 1685; m. Roth, she died April 16, 1766.
Yelverton, b. Oct 26, 1686.
Jonathan, b. Oct. 26, 1686.
Mary, b. Dec. 2, 1688.
Seth, b. Sept. 8, 1690; m. Mercy Nickerson, Mch. 23, 1714.
Deborah, b. Oct 4, 1692; m. Ebenezer Parker, July 27, 1720.
Thomas, b. July 13, 1694; m. Experience Crowell, Nov. 2, 1720.
Thankful, b. June 24, 1696; m. John Lewis, July 31, 1718. :*Ebenezer, b. July 30, 1698; m. Mercy Gorham, July 2, 1724.
Elisha, b. April 22, 1700; m. 1st Alice Godred, 2nd Remember Luce.
"Crowell It is said that the name was originally Crow, but was changed to Crowell in the third generation in America. The records of Yarmouth, Mass., where the family settled, were burned about 1700 rendering it difficult now to obtain the vital records or town history prior to that date.
The records of Plymouth now furnish the only clue which appears authentic regarding this branch of the family. In Vol. 8, page 9, of the Plymouth Colony Records, is recorded : 1649, Yarmouth Regester of the Beirth of theire children Tho and Elizabeth, twines, sonn and daughter of Mr. Elverton Crow, born May the 9th."
Boston Evening Transcript, June 2, 1930. In response to a query on the newspaper's genealogical page regarding someone named Susan Basset, born in 1802 the lineage states for ancestor Mary Crow, "She was the daughter of Thomas and Deborah Crow. (So the name is in records but later usage usually spelled it "Crowell." No citation is given for this statement, although the Yarmouth Town Records are cited for others. [6]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Deborah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
It's weird that she died the year before her husband. Could we confirm this? I bring it up because his will the next year makes reference to the maintenance of his wife, suggesting she survived him?
Thomas's will (which is of course a copy in the town records) is hard to read and I think the date might actually be 1720 which would make more sense. We don't know when he died because the will wasn't probated until 1728. The town records clearly say Deborah "Crow" wife of Thomas died April 22, 1722
Pokanoket-8 and Unknown-500521 appear to represent the same person because: same husband, no sources provided for maiden name. Birth is an estimate on both profiles, birth of before 1663 would make her at least 21 when married.
As you do not believe that the profiles suggested are duplicates and that the last name at birth should not be Unknown as I suggested. Can you please provide the source you have for the Pokanoket name? Both profiles have the exact same source on them and it does not give a last name for Deborah. The other profile also indicates that there is no credible source for the name Luce, so on that you agree with the other profile manager. Please add you source for the name you are arguing as correct. Thanks for you help on this one.
Pokanoket-8 and Luce-363 appear to represent the same person because: in reading both profiles, they are clearly intended to represent the same person, it is suggested that her maiden name should be changed to Unknown from the sources provided on both profiles
Pokanoket-10 and Pokanoket-8 appear to represent the same person because: same name, exact same spouse on both profiles, same birth year, same death date.
