Doniphan-94 and Doniphan-4 appear to represent the same person because: based on dates, source and husband removed, these were intended to be the same person

I do not believe this Elizabeth Doniphan was married to anyone other than Stephen Hansford. In my research I have Elizabeth Doniphan b 1759 daughter of Anderson Doniphan & Margaret Monteith married to Richard Jonathan Shipp. Anderson Doniphan is the Son of Mott Doniphan, brother to this Elizabeth Doniphan

I think that we have 2 Elizabeth's confused. I believe that Elizabeth Doniphan married Stephen Hansford and another Elizabeth with an unknown last name married Thomas Shipp.

Now that I look at it, I have Elizabeth Doniphan (Doniphan-39) married to Thomas Shipp Sr and Elizabeth Doniphan (Doniphan-4) married to Stephen Hansford. Any chance she was married twice and they are the same person.

In my database I show Elizabeth Hansford, DOB 1707, Plymouth England as being married to Stephen Hansford. She is the daughter of Alexander Doniphan and Margaret Mott. Is this correct or?

I believe that I and others have made a connection that has no truth. This Elizabeth Doniphan never married into the Shipp family. Her name has been confused by myself and others with Elizabeth Doniphan born 1757 that married Richard Shipp. Even on the Truman Library history, they show this person, but do not show a connect to the Shipp family. I think the error was found some time ago. The confusion comes from the fact that Thomas Shipp, shown as a husband on this profile married an Elizabeth, but with an unknown last name. I have found proof that the Elizabeth on this profile married Stephen Hansford.
