John Cocke, husband of Obedience Branch, supposedly died 1699. Obedience then has a son named John Cocke, born 1702--too long a stretch. Obedience then married Alexander Trent 24 Dec 1701, Henrico, Virginia. Then she has a second son, Alexander Trent born 1702. I would presume the birth date for the younger John Cocke would be before his father's date of death, or at least the next year. This probably happened with the merging of Branch-29. Janice Hardin supposedly contributed first-hand knowledge of this family, or a part of it. Her name is not listed in the Chane tab changes. Was she a contemporary of Obedience Branch? If so, where is her first-hand knowledge located? If not, perhaps she should give a different description of the information she added, which is not indicated.
Branch-29 and Branch-569 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. Alexander Trent was her third husband.

Unknown-257172 and Branch-29 appear to represent the same person because: I adopted the abandoned profile for Obedience (Unknown) Turpin. She appears to be the same person as Obedience (Branch) Cocke Trent Turpin. Obedience (Unknown) Turpin has daughter Mary (Turpin) Goode - named in the wills of both Obedience (Branch) and her son, John Cocke.
