Rachel Deane's birth is estimated at about 1604 since she was 31 years of age in 1635 when she migrated..[1]
Rachel Deane, possibly a pregnant widow, sailed to New England on the Planter in April of 1635. She settled and resided several years at Marshfield, Plymouth Colony.[1]
Previous to the arrival of the brothers John and Walter Deane, two persons of the name had emigrated to New England, viz, Stephen and Rachel. Rachel had married a man named Deane (whose given name is unknown) before 1635 and he apparently died before that date. So Rachel was a widow when she migrated since she later had a daughter, Martha Deane. After arrival, Rachel, called "widow" in the record, married at Plymouth, 28 October 1636, with Joseph Beedle. Her Great Migration profile spells his name as Biddle.[2]
Rachel died after April 17, 1671 as she was named in her second husband's will. Also named was Rachel's daughter Martha Deane.[3]
Child with (Unknown) Deane, who was apparently dead by 11 April 1635 as he was not a passenger with her on the Plantar.[2]
Martha had NO children by either husband.

Note: husband Bidwell-91 is probably the same as Joseph Biddle on p. 28 of GMD. His surname should probably be changed and then added to the PGM project. He has a sketch in The Great Migration 2:1:283-284.
