Biography

Mary Nicholson was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Lower Young Cane, Union County, Georgia for the April 25, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1880 in Georgia and had been married seven years. She was the mother of six children of which four were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Robert L Nicholson, son Edward Nicholson, son Stanley Nicholson, daughter Lillian Nicholson and daughter Willie Nicholson.^[1]

Mary A Nicholson was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Lower Young Cane, Union County, Georgia for the January 14, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1880 in Georgia and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Robert L Nicholson, son Thomas E Nicholson, son Stanley R Nicholson, daughter Lillian G Nicholson, daughter Willie L Nicholson, daughter Beulah M Nicholson, son James R Nicholson and mother Mary E Nicholson.^[2]

She was noted as born 1880 in Georgia and married. She was first married at the age of twenty-two as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Robert L Nicholson, daughter Beulah M Nicholson and son James R Nicholson.^[3]
