Biography

Mary Healey was born about 1612, based on the date of her marriage. Her parents and origins are unknown. [1] [2]

Mary (name indexed as Zealy) married Thomas Brown at Christian, Malford, Wiltshire, England on August 20, 1632. Thomas was born about 1606. [1] [2][3]

Their first child, son Francis was baptized at Christian, Malford on January 1, 1632/3. The family likely came to New England together on the ship James arriving in Boston, Massachusetts on June 3, 1635, although the passenger list only includes the names of male passengers, including Thomas Brown, weaver, of Malford. [1]

They settled at Newbury, Massachusetts, where Mary died on June 2, 1654. [4] [1] [2]

Thomas died there on January 8, 1686/7. [4] [1] [2]

Jill, Since there seems to be no evidence of origins, perhaps the dob & pob should be generalized to about 1610 (or about 1612 as biography) in England? And Zealy in data under OLN. (perhaps after merge is completed?) Thanks.
Merge complete and changes made

two thumbs up, Jill!

Could somone please connect Isaac Brown as Mary's son - Thanks!

Endoe-1 and Healy-541 appear to represent the same person because: Both profiles are mant to be the wife of Thomas Brown - sameish death date; Endoe-1 is unsourced and unconnected

It appears Thomas didn't leave a will, but his estate papers list him as Thomas Browne Sen., and son Francis was administrator. Shouldn't this be on his page and not his spouse?

All I garnered so far from working upstream and down for this lead that I got on a "We're Related" app possible son Thomas Brown (ca. 1651-1723), who is supposed to be the grandson of William Hele (ca. 1587-1652) (and I'd be their great grandsons, ha!) is a pedigree resource file on FamilySearch left to rule out, and I have yet to dig into that, as those rarely have actual sources attached.

In the process, I did track down that Mary Endoe is a highly probable duplicate of this Mary. She and Thomas "Jr" were mentioned among "sources" at a Geni profile.

Interesting that the Geni profile appears to be an amalgamation of sorts. (Why not?)

There is no evidence for a son named Thomas. The "Sr" may be there to distinguish him from a couple of grandsons named Thomas. However, it should probably be removed unless there is some indication the suffix was used during his lifetime.

If her husband was Thomas Brown Sr, isn't it likely that they had a son Thomas Brown (ca. 1651-1723)? Let me see if I can locate records other than matching. Thanks.

There are no sources that show that the Mary Endoe and Thomas Brown who married were the same Mary Endoe and Thomas Brown as in these two profiles, so the marriage has been removed, leaving Mary's profile ID in Thomas Brown's profile

Endoe-4 and Endoe-1 appear to represent the same person because: With no sources for her birthplace , this woman must be the same woman that married Tom Browne,

The profile of Endoe-4 & Endoe-1 are clearly of the same person, and should be merged.

The proposed merge of husband's profile Thomas Brown should be the subject of further consideration in my opinion!

Endoe-4 and Endoe-1 do not represent the same person because: Thomas Brown has different parents on each profile.
