Biography

Margaret Gorman is the daughter of Edward and Ann Gorman of Ireland. On the 1821 census of Letterluna, County King, Ireland, she is twenty years old and living at home with her parents, four older brothers and one younger sister, named Catherine. ^[1]

Margaret married John Doyle and had at least two daughters, born in Massachusetts. We get this information from the marriage records of her daughter Adeline Doyle, who married Michael Carney, son of John and Mary Carney, on April 4, 1858. ^[2]
