She migrated with her mother and brother, William John Honiball in 1880.[3]
She was raised by her maternal uncle, David Williams (her mother's half-brother), and came to be known as "Little Annie Williams", who migrated from Ohio to Colorado.[4]
In 1893, a week after her uncle's death, she married Henry Thomas Peltier.[5][6][7][8]
Anna purchased the "Lafayette House", built by Henry's brother, Peter Peltier in 1900, in 1920 where she resided until her death in 1954.[11][12]

In 1900, Henry Peltier, 32 b. Illinois December 1877, worked as a gold miner. He lived with his wife Annie, 21 b. Illinois August 1878, and two sons b. Colorado: David, 4 b. May 1896; and Henry, 2 b. January 1898. The couple has been married for 6 years, and Annie has had two children. Henry's parents were born in Illinois, while Annie's were born in Wales.[6]

Colorado: David J., 14; Henry, 11; and Mildred, 7. This is the firth marriage for both Henry and Anna, who have been married for 16 years. Anna has had three children. Henry's parents were both born in New York. Anna's were born in England, and she came to the US in 1880.[7]

Henry's father was born in Canada and his mother in New York, while Anna's were born in England. She came to the US in 1879. [8]

According to family information, Anna didn't know that her maiden name was Honiball and not Ball. For a time she also went by her guardians (her maternal half-uncle) surname, Williams.[4]
