Joan, describing herself as a widow of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire had her will drawn up on Nov 28 1601. [1]She made bequests to:

It seems highly unlikely that Joan Chandler is Thomas Chandler's daughter. Only one daughter was mentioned in his Will, and it wasn't a Joan.

It's conceivable that Joan might be an unknown daughter of Thomas Chandler III, as his wife was named Joan. This remains to be seen, however.

Hand-1735 Richard Hand
I was wondering if anyone could help me prove Joan Chandler is thomas chandlers daughter and she was married to Johannis Hand, I have worked my self up to these two Johannis Hand and Joan Chandler,if this is true they would be my grandparents way up the line.Not sure if i took dna test if it help prove any of this.
