She was the administrator of Joshua's estate 25 April 1676, and died on an unknown date after this.[2]

- There are no appropriate mentions of Alice Courtney at American Ancestors. There are no common genealogical articles that mention the surname.
- Torrey's New England Marriages refers to her only as Alice ____ This would catch older genealogies calling her Courtney, even if only in the use a ? mark
- Even Find a Grave doesn't give her a maiden name
