Biography

Mary "Emma" Pezolt was born 1863 in Missouri. Emma was the daughter of Lawrence Pezolt of Germany and Mary Mulhern Pezolt of New York.

In 1888, Emma married Albert Tidwell an Iron Worker from Missouri. Could not find any information regarding children from this union.

Emma age 37 was last listed in the 1900 US Census for St Louis County, Missouri with Alfred age 39.

An interesting find while looking at their marriage license. Emma and Albert were married by a Catholic Priest, an O'Leary from the Church of Annunciation in St Louis.

I found an Emma Tidwell buried in the Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum in Saint Louis, Missouri. Her headstone had no birth date only a death date of 1914 which would have her death around the age of 50.

Alfred was later counted in the 1920 US Census for Downey, Los Angeles, California. Alfred was listed with his wife Cora Alice (LMU) Tidwell.

Alfred lived on to the age of 75 passing in 1937. Unsure as to his burial location. He might be buried in the same cemetery as Cora Alice located in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Los Angeles County, California. There are other Tidwells in this cemetery.
