Biography
Only information known for certain is birthplace being Sweden. Assumption of birth before 1865 is due to daughter's birth in 1878, and death after 1975 is age unlikely to be more than 110.
1900 Census Records for Mildred Holmes list father's birthplace as Sweden and mother's birthplace as Sweden. [1]
Marriage license for Amelia Brown and Cyrus Holmes lists Frank G. Brown as her father and Marie Johnson as her mother. [2]
Brown is not a surname in Sweden. It is likely an assumed surname when Mildred's parents immigrated to the USA. (In the 1800s, common Swedish surnames were the father's first name with -son or -dotter.) Mildred is supposedly born in the USA, either Missouri or Nebraska, in 1878.
