Susan was born about 1815 in Mealiffe, County Tipperary, Ireland. She immigrated to New South Wales as an Assisted Immigrant with her husband Patrick, aged 40 and children Patrick aged 14, Mathew aged 12, Ann, 11 and Maria 7. The family arrived on the 'Kate' on 16 October 1852. [1]
