Biography
Jane must have been born in about 1605 but we do not where, when, or the names of her parents.
In about 1623 she was married to Anthonye BROWNE, who is known to have lived "in the Marsh" in Derbyshire.
This couple had at least one child, a daughter (Jane BROWNE).
Anthonye BROWNE had died by 1626 when Jane re-married to Rowland MOSLEY, supposedly at Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire, England.
Jane died in 1644, probably at The Milngate, Manchester, Lancashire, England.
She was buried on December 17, 1644, at the Collegiate Church of St. Mary, St. Denys and St. George, Manchester, Lancashire, England; under the heading "Burialles in December 1644" the burial record reads, "Jane the wife of Mr. Rowland Mosley ye younger of Manchester" (see also "Mosley Memoranda", p. 15).
