Biography

Ann (Unknown) Dillon was a convict after the Third Fleet transported to New South Wales

Ann Dillon was a convict who came to Australia in July 1798 sentenced for seven years having been convicted in July 1797 of stealing a silver ladle at Middlesex Gaol Delivery[1]. The ship Anne travelled on was the Britannia.

The English criminal records stated that Ann was married, came from Bristol and about forty years of age. She was said to be about five feet six inches tall with a fair complexion, brown hair and hazel eyes[1]. After conviction she was transferred to the "New Prison" in September 1787 before being put on board the Britannia.
