Jane Patience married Charles Clark on 28 Jan 1822 in Over Wallop.[1]
Jane and Charles had at least six children:
In 1841 Jane Clark (age 35-39) lived in Nether Wallop with her six children: Elizabeth (15-19), Henry (15-19), George (15-19), Sarah (11), William (8), and John (5).[2] [Although he was not recorded with the household, Jane's husband was still living.]
In 1851 Jane Clark (age 49) lived in Nether Wallop with her husband Charles (49, Carrier) and two sons: William (18, Porter) and John (15, Ag Lab), as well as lodger Charles Smith (19, Ag Lab).[3]
In 1861 Jane Clark (age 59, Farm Servant) lived at Wells In Field, Whitchurch, Hampshire with her husband Charles (59, Agricultural Labourer), boarder William Harfield (83, Gentleman), and three servants: Henry West (16, Carter), James West (12, Carter), and Thomas West (11, Carter).[4]
Jane's husband passed away before 1871.
In 1871 Jane Clark (age 69, Dressmaker) lived in Templecombe, Somerset with her daughter Sarah Greenstock (41, Dressmaker), step-grandson Henry Greenstock (25, Blacksmith & Parish Clerk), and grandson William H Clark (9, Scholar).[5]
Jane Clark passed away in 1871, aged 69 years. Her death was registered in Wincanton, Somerset in the second quarter of the year.[6]
