Biography

David and Pheba are supposed to have had the following children: Joseph (born 1817), Warren (born 1819), Nelson (born 1821), Charles (born 1823), Purlina (born 1825), Jane (born 1827), Mary (born 1829), and Mariah (born 1831). Since there is no source for this information, and I have no additional information, I am holding off adding all of them to Wikitree.

Research Notes

The only source of information for this profile is the genealogy listed below, which is handwritten, copied from family records, and as close to a Bible as I'll get for this family. Unless a miracle occurs, I will never figure out who Phebe was, or even if Phebe was her name. We're talking SMITHS here, people.
Looking in trees of DNA relatives, some indicate that Pheba's name may have been Davison or Davis. One death record for a sibling of Ephraim shows this Davison name, but additional evidence is needed. Kitty Smith (see comment below) has a marriage record that shows a surname of Davison.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Pheba by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Pheba:
