Christine (or Christian) was an illegitimate daughter of William the Lion, King of Scots, and an unknown mistress.[1] The exact date of her birth is unknown.
She married, sometime in 1195, Heinrich Borwin II, lord of Rostock, son and heir of Heinrich Borwin I, prince of Mecklenburg, by his (first) wife.[2] There were at least six children from this marriage:
