The wife of James Clark of New Haven Colony was not Sarah Harvey. Therefore she was not baptized May 19, 1611 at Great Gaddesden, England
It has been assumed that the first wife of James Clark arrived in Boston with him on the Hector, in 1637. However, we don't know this for sure. We do not even know her given name.
Goodwife Clark was seated in the meetinghouse for the 10 March 1646, and the 11 Feb 1655/6 seating. There were two Sister Clarks in 1646, one the wife of John Clark. Atwater's History of New Haven states that in 1646 James' wife was the Sister Clark sitting on the side, while John's wife was in the long seats. John and his wife died about 1648. In the 1655/6 seating, Sister Clark was seated in the long seats.[1] It was probably James's wife in the long seats in 1646 also.
She died after the 11 Feb 1655/6 meetinghouse seating and before 17 Oct 1661 when James remarried.[2]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Unknown by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Unknown:
Sarah Harvey was the wife of a different James Clark. See the bio at Clark-1851. I think the way to handle the Sarah Harvey wife, is to simply change her LNAB to unknown, that preserves the attachement to her children and the current managers.
Harvey-3421 and Harvey-288 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the previously established PGM profile. No tree conflicts. Thanks!
Harvey-6003 and Harvey-288 appear to represent the same person because: This newly created dupliacate probably needs to be merged away into this previously established PGM profile. No tree conflicts. Thanks!
