Josephine Potter was born on February 10, 1900 in Dunklin, Missouri, United States, daughter of Robert Edward Potter (1866–1927) and Amanda Elizabeth Whitehead (1871–1945).[1]

Josephine (25) married Walter William Peters (36) (born on January 14, 1889 in Deer Lodge, Deer Lodge, Montana Territory; son of Pierre Pitre and Elizabeth Marceline (Henault) Pitre) on October 21, 1925 in Missoula, Missoula, Montana. Their son was Joseph Walter Peters (1928–2015).
Josephine died on June 7, 1984 in Plains, Sanders, Montana, United States, aged 84. She is commemorated at Murray Memorial Cemetery, Lonepine, Sanders County, Montana.[1] [2]
