Mary ____ was the wife of Jeremiah Carter. She probably came from England to Pennsylvania with her husband around 1682. She was living when her husband's will was signed on January 17, 1735, and presumably died in Chester County, Pennsylvania.[1]

Prudden would not be Mary's maiden name as the marriage between Jeremiah and Mary Prudden took place in Hexton, Hertfordshire, England in 1786, four years after arriving in Pennsylvania.
Jerimiah married Mary Prudden on 22 April 1686 in Hexton, Hertford, England.[2]
