Anna Catharina "Kathrina" Otterbach (Utterback) was born 2 Jan 1705
[1][2]
in Trupbach, Siegen, Westphalia, Prussia, Germany to Johann Hermann Otterbach and Elsbeth Heimbach.
[3][4]
She was christened 11 Jan 1705 at St. Nicholas Reform Church in Siegen, Germany;
[3]
her godmother was Anna Liesbeth Fischbach.
[1][2][4]
Both Benjamin Clark Holtzclaw and William Irvin Utterback (historians of the Holtzclaw and Utterback families, respectively) believed that Catharina ("Kathrina" in the records)
[5][6]
was the first wife of Hermann Fischbach.
[1][7]
Since he was married when he arrived in Virginia in 1714 (with his name anglicized to Harman Fishback),
[8]
it is speculated that they were married in Germany about 1713
[9][10]
(although, this would mean she married at 8 years old!).
Also, since Harman remarried in 1745 to the widow "Mary Noe" (Maria Clara (Otterbach) Noeh), it is assumed Catharina died before 1745 (presumably) in Virginia.
[8][9][10][11]
Catharina and Harman had (at least) the following children:

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Anna by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Anna:
Otterbach-92 and Otterbach-34 do not represent the same person because: The birth date of Otterbach-92 really belongs to Otterbach-34. These two have different children and their husbands (tho they have similar names) have different birth/death dates.
UNKNOWN-172759 and Otterbach-34 appear to represent the same person because: Scholars believe that Anna Catharine Otterbach (Otterbach-34) is the "Katrina" that is mentioned in records, which UNKNOWN-172759 is created from.
I've seen no evidence that Anna Otterbach married Harman Fishback; his 2nd wife was Mary Clara (Otterbach) Noeh (Otterbach-11). The W.I. Utterback book simply gives Anna's birthdate and mentions that her sponsor (godmother) was Liesbeth Fischbach, with no further record (n.f.r.).
Germanna Foundation has records here and in Germany and per them, Anna Cathrina Otterbach married Harman Fishbach about 1713. Per their Database, this source is listed:

Yeah, I originally thought "Katrina" being "Anna Catherine" was a stretch, but B.C. Holtzclaw, W.I. Utterback, and others seem to think they were the same person. Thanks for the comment.
