Biography

Covington was born in 1791 in Culpeper Co. , Virginia, USA [1] [2] to Harmon Utterback and Elizabeth Crose. [2] [3] [2] He was named for William Covington, an old neighbor to Harmon and Elizabeth while they lived in Virginia. He married Sarah Crose (the niece of Elizabeth Crose) on 20 Dec 1816 [1] in Bourbon Co., Kentucky. [4] [5] [6] [7]
