Dinnah was born in 1770. Dinnah Vadine Vaden daughter of William Vaden and Catherine English Vaden Married William V. Jones 2 Dec 1791 d/o William Vadine and Catherine Vadine or alternate spelling Vaden.

By 1847, Jessee Jones had moved to Franklin County, and took his mother, Diannah with him. She passed away in 1851.

William Jones, Sr. was born September 8, 1767, in North Carolina. On December 2, 1791, he signed a marriage bond in Wake Co., North Carolina to marry Diannah Vaden (Vadine), (1770-August 31, 1851) the daughter of William Vaden and Catherine English Vaden. This marriage produced four children. They were: Henry R. (October 11, 1792-November 22, 1842); Jessee (May 20, 1796-May 14, 1856); Eliza (born February 22,1799 ) and William V. (Born June 12, 1805 ). William Sr. and his children all migrated to Greene County, Alabama where he took out his first land patent by 1829. He became a planter in the Pleasant Ridge community.
